ABOUT DESHELIA
Award-winning marketing strategist, professional coach, speaker and photographer
“Three things bring me joy – growing my relationship with God, spending time with family and friends, and a good plate of southern fried seafood.”
— DeShelia Spann
It all began with an idea
When DeShelia started her first business, a photography studio, it was early in her career. At that time, she worked in advertising and learned from some of the best creative minds, which helped her improve her photography skills. However, she soon realized that building and growing a business requires more than just talent. It also demands a strong brand presence, an effective marketing strategy, strong leadership, people skills, and a clear plan to generate demand for your products and services. Most importantly, it requires the ability to tell your story compellingly that captures people's attention and prompts a response.
For over 20 years, DeShelia has worked as a brand and marketing strategist, assisting organizations, entrepreneurs, agencies, and non-profits in creating global awareness and demand for their products and services. As her knowledge and expertise expanded, friends and colleagues sought her guidance to develop and scale their professional brands, train and nurture their staff, and pursue entrepreneurial ambitions. In helping others, she discovered her passion and joy as a professional coach and marketing consultant, a role that keeps her engaged and interested every day.
DeShelia became a certified professional coach because she loves helping people overcome challenges and achieve their lifelong goals. Often, it takes the right coaching to identify what's holding you back and what's needed to propel you forward. She is dedicated to helping clients build an authentic brand that reflects who they are, sets them apart, attracts the right audience, and leads them to success.
